Pilgrimage, Nature & Us

On 4 October, Hope4Creation held our inaugural conference event, Pilgrimage, Nature & Us. During which we had have speakers of different faiths speak about their individual journeys to understanding pilgrimage and our relationship to the natural world.

To start the event, our founder, Canon Dr. Charlotte Bannister-Parker welcomed delegates. After which, Esther de Waal provided an opening address, Dr. Engy Moussa interviewed Dr. Farhana Mayer, and Rev'd Professor Andy Gosler and Rabbi Judith Rosen-Berry gave presentations. To end the conference, Canon Dr. Charlotte Bannister-Parker interviewed Dame Emma Bridgewater. There were some closing words from Canon Dr. Charlotte Bannister-Parker then the gathered delegates left for non-alcoholic drinks and dinner at Green Templeton College. During the drinks reception, Revd Dr Peter Rožič SJ shared his reflections on Pilgrimage, Nature & Us.
